What you type

Previewfold asks only for what a listing kit needs: the PDF you sell, a shop name, a tagline, two colours, a watermark and, if you choose one, a logo, plus each listing's title, benefit line and list of what is included. Your PDF is your product, so it is treated as private. The site never asks who you are, and it has no field for your name, email or photo.

What stays on your device

Your PDF is read, and every preview, thumbnail, pin and ZIP is made, in your browser. There is no server side to this site: it is a set of static files. The PDF you choose and your logo file are read on your device and never sent anywhere. The only files the maker fetches are its own: the PDF reader's worker and font data, and the four kit fonts, all from this site. The printables fetch two font files of their own, from this site, when you press Download.

Your PDF is never saved: closing it, or the page, releases it, and only its file name, size and page count are kept with the listing so you can match it later. Your brand kits and listings are written to your browser's own local storage, under keys beginning with sellerkit (one of them is a short test that storage works, removed straight away), and a logo's file to the browser's own file store (IndexedDB) under the name sellerkit-files. They belong to one browser on one device: they do not follow you to another computer, they are not backed up by us, and nobody else can read them. Clearing site data for this site removes them permanently. Use Save a backup file to keep a copy; that file is saved wherever you choose and is yours to keep or delete.

Share links and offline copies

A link made with Share this carries one brand kit and one listing's settings in the part of the address after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server. It holds no logo and no PDF, and it goes only where you paste it. With Include names unticked, nothing you typed is in it: no shop name, tagline, title, benefit line, list, watermark text or file name. When a link is opened, its contents move at once from the address into that tab's session storage, which belongs to that tab only and is cleared when you press Keep a copy or Dismiss. Opening a link saves nothing to your kits and listings until you press Keep a copy.

So that the site works offline, your browser keeps copies of this site's own files (its pages, scripts, fonts, and the PDF reader once it has been used) in its cache. Nothing you choose or type is kept there: your PDF, logo, kits and listings never are. Clearing site data for this site removes the copies.

No accounts

There is no sign up, no sign in, no email capture and no password. Every page, including the kit maker and its downloads, works without identifying yourself in any way.

What is collected

No account, no advertising identifiers, and nothing you enter. Standard web server logs kept by the static host may record the request for a page, its time and a network address, in the ordinary way any web server records a request.

Page counts

If page visit counting is switched on for this site, visits are counted through Cloudflare. The count sets no cookie, cannot follow you to another site, and records that a page was opened, never what you typed.

Purchases

If paid plans are offered, a purchase is handled by RevenueCat and Stripe, who receive what a payment needs, such as your email address and card, and never your PDF, logo or listings. An anonymous purchase id is stored in this browser so your access is recognised here.

Typeface

Headings are set in Bricolage Grotesque. Thumbnails and pins use Fraunces, Barlow Condensed, Nunito and Barlow. All are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 and served from this site, so no font service sees your visit. The licences sit beside them at /fonts/OFL.txt and /kit-fonts/OFL.txt.

Cookies

Previewfold sets no cookies of its own and carries no advertising or cross site tracking scripts.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the change will appear on this page.

Contact

Questions about privacy go to [email protected]. Since nothing is stored on a server, most requests are answered by telling you which local storage keys to clear.
